Captain Ken started fishing Galveston Bay with his father and grandfather as a kid and has over 40 years experience fishing the Galveston Bay Complex and 20+ years fishing Matagorda Bay.

His competitive nature has led to a successful tournament winning resume and broad range of knowledge & techniques to target trophy trout, redfish & flounder.

Capt. Ken has extensive experience wading the shorelines and flats of Galveston and Matagorda Bays, as well as fishing the open bay reefs, spoil banks and historic Galveston jetties.

Whether you are a beginner or advanced fisherman, Capt. Ken will customize a trip and try his best to meet your objectives!

Another healthy year for my family and myself.

How did you get started guiding?

I began fishing Galveston Bay as a kid & fell in love with it. I decided to pursue this passion of mine and become a fishing guide in 2006.

What makes you different from other guides?

My experience and versatility is probably my best asset as a guide. I have logged hundreds of hours wading flats, shorelines and reefs with artificials, but also enjoy fishing live bait out of the boat. I split my time now fishing inshore, jetties and offshore.
