Daybreaker Inshore Charters

Captain Matt is a 6th generation native who grew up on Tampabay and the surrounding waters, commercial fishing and mating for his father as well as other local Captains. He is a United States Coast Guard Veteran and with Captain Matthew at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.

These waters are known for Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, Snook, Flounder, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Gag Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Tarpon, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some.

For these species, you're likely to fish multiple ways, ranging from drifting the grass flats for trout, casting to mangrove shorelines for redfish and snook, sight fishing the beach for Tarpon or trolling the ships chanel for Grouper. Capt. Matthew also offers fly fishing, but you will need to bring your own fly gear.
