This charter was launched after the team participated in many angler events for underprivileged children that had no opportunities to ever be on the water. Other events included those that loved to fish with no access to a boat and fishing tournaments for bragging rights that included nine Central Texas lakes. The realization of being able to offer someone the chance to be on a body of water and feel that tug at the end of the line became our mission. Our trip packages not only share an angler experience but are also designed to build confidence and teamwork. Our Fishing Guides use their fishing expertise in this charter that will last for a lifetime. Photo opportunities will be plentiful to hang on your wall or place on your office desk.

This suburban stretch of river is filled with mostly Largemouth, but Derek occasionally targets Stripers as well. He likes to target these species on light tackle gear using a variety of bass soft plastic and hard baits. Whichever flavor suits your fancy, Derek can definitely accommodate. Derek can take up to 2 guests on these half-day adventures. You will be fishing aboard his 18ft bass boat, which is suited to all your needs on Lake Travis. The vessel is powered by a 115 Yamaha engine that will power you across the smooth surface of the lake with speed. Derek masterfully guides the vessel to put you on your prey, taking you to his favorite fishing holes on the lake. Get some buddies together for this unique, competitive tournament-style Bassfishing trip on the lakes around Austin, Texas! On this trip, your group will split up according to how many people you bring, typically going 2-3 per boat, and competing to see who can catch the better fish! The terms of this tournament will be up to you, and you can compete based on size, number of fish, top five catches, or more! Derek did a great job. Even though the weather was a little cold and the fish weren’t too hungry, we hit multiple different spots and everyone on the trip landed something! We also nearly landed a 25 pound mega catfish that would’ve been a personal best! All in all, awesome day, awesome guide. …
