No one knows for sure, but it’s possible that Sam was born on the water. From the moment he could hold a fishing pole or carry a surfboard, he was out there. At age 10, he got his hands on some poles and a Zodiac to explore the nooks and crannies of the Indian River Lagoon, and hasn't looked back since.

To say Sam understands the local fishing spots is an understatement. He lives and breathes Florida fish and wildlife and is attuned to its subtle rhythms: the tides, the weather, the seasons, the habits, the cycles. He’s been learning from them for nearly three decades.
