With 15 years of service in the Army and Army National Guard, Shawn brings a strong commitment to safety, service, and helping others enjoy their time on the water. He especially enjoys introducing families and kids to fishing, as well as sharing his love of the outdoors with fellow veterans.

About Your Trip

There's plenty of action waiting around the rocky bottom off Oregon's coast, and some of the toughest fish out there spend their days tucked among the underwater structure. From hard-pulling Rockfish to the toothy, stubborn Lingcod, these waters offer a different kind of saltwater fishing experience.

This trip out of Winchester Bay takes you aboard a 26' North River Seahawk to work the Pacific's rocky reefs and bottom structure. You'll focus on finding fish holding near the bottom, where a solid hookup can quickly turn into a tug-of-war. With a variety of bottom-dwelling species in the mix, there's always the chance for something different on the end of your line.

It's a classic Oregon coast fishing trip with rugged scenery, fresh ocean air, and plenty of opportunities to put a bend in the rod. All rods, reels, and tackle are included, so dress for the weather and come ready for a day on the water.
