About Your Trip
Experience the world-class salmon and trout fishery of Lake Ontario with Captain Bruce out of Oswego, New York. Fishing the eastern basin of the lake, these trips give anglers the opportunity to target some of the hardest-fighting and most sought-after freshwater species in North America while enjoying beautiful sunrises and open-water trolling action.
Trips are available in 4-hour, 6-hour, and 8-hour formats, with departure times typically beginning between 5:00 and 5:45 a.m. depending on the
season and current fishing conditions. The focus is on locating active fish and covering productive water using proven Great Lakes trolling techniques.
Depending on the season and conditions, potential catches include Chinook (King) Salmon, Coho Salmon, Brown Trout, Steelhead, and Lake Trout. These fish are known for their powerful runs, acrobatic fights, and outstanding table fare, making every strike an exciting experience.
You'll fish aboard a spacious 33' Wellcraft Coastal featuring a wide 13-foot beam and room for up to 6 anglers. The boat has been updated with modern electronics including GPS, fish-finding technology, radar, and advanced trolling equipment. Onboard amenities include a restroom, kitchen, refrigerator, and wheelchair accessibility, providing comfort throughout the trip.
All rods, reels, tackle, lures, and fishing equipment are included, and your catch will be cleaned and filleted at the end of the day. A first mate is onboard to assist throughout the trip and help keep everything running smoothly.
