My name is Brian and I have been fly fishing for over three decades. I have been a guide since 2014. I learned how to fly fish on the San Juan River in New Mexico. I have fly fished all over the world for multiple species of fish. I fell in love with trout fishing because of the different techniques out there. I provide streamer fishing, nymph rig fishing, European fly fishing techniques/tight line techniques. We will target rainbow, brook, and brown trout. I will teach new beginners how to cast, rig set up, and show the types of knots used. I have a 2010 Clackacraft drift boat which get us into spots most wading anglers can’t get to. Let me be your guide and we’ll have a ball!!! Tight lines!!!🎣

Brian was great! We had some scheduling challenges and he was totally flexible and worked with us. As novices, he was patient and great with the basics. He also checked in with us regularly throughout the day to make certain that day trip was as we wanted - pacing, place on the river, reacting to some changes in the weather, etc. I highly recommend Brian as a guide.

Recent Fishing Reports

Mid June 2026
Caney Fork has been on fire lately with a good consistent water flow of 250cfs on no generators. Very wadeable for those who what to get out early. This time of year is very busy on the Caney due to local kayaking and canoeing companies starting up their busy time of year. Best time to go is during the week or a good rain storm.. fishing has been best during those times and solitude is what I'm looking for my clients the last couple months. 🎣Brian
