Captain Jon was raised in North Louisiana and has always been an avid outdoorsman. Growing up, he spent most his free time hunting and fishing the bayous and lakes in and around Monroe, LA. Since moving to South Louisiana he has become obsessed with fishing the marsh for redfish and speckled trout. Jon has a true passion for the outdoors and prides himself on fishing conditions instead of spots. He also loves to share stories and knowledge learned from his years of fishing. His eagerness to ensure a trip of a lifetime will have you coming back to the dock with a smile on your face. When he's not fishing, Jon is a husband, father, and professional firefighter/paramedic. You will be targeting the local species of the gulf, mainly Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder. John also runs a Simrad Evo3 navigation system so he'll always get you to the numerous honey holes he has around the area.
