Captain Dave is a second-generation Floridian with more than 40 years of fishing experience throughout Central Florida and the surrounding coast. He started fishing at an early age with his father and has spent decades building his knowledge of Florida's lakes, rivers, beaches, fish, and wildlife.

Dave welcomes anglers of all experience levels and especially enjoys working with families, kids, and first-time fishermen. Whether he's helping a young angler catch their first fish or working with an experienced fisherman in search of a Florida trophy, he brings patient instruction and decades of local knowledge to every trip.

From Largemouth Bass around Orlando to inshore fishing along the Space Coast, Captain Dave loves getting guests away from the beaten path and showing them what Florida fishing is all about.

About Your Trip

Join Captain Dave for a Central Florida bass fishing trip targeting trophy Largemouth Bass across some of the Orlando area's most productive waters. Depending on conditions, Dave fishes Lake Toho, Lake Cypress, Johns Lake, the Butler Chain, Conway Chain, Winter Park Chain, and other lesser-known local lakes. Meeting locations are determined before the trip based on where the fishing has been best.

Choose from 3, 4, or 5-hour trips with morning and afternoon options available. These trips are a great fit for everyone from families and young anglers to experienced bass fishermen, with Captain Dave happy to provide hands-on instruction along the way.

Rods, reels, tackle, bottled water, and ice are provided. Artificial lures can be used, while live wild shiners are highly recommended for anglers looking to maximize their chances at both numbers and quality fish. Live bait is available for an additional charge, and trips with four anglers are live bait only.

All Largemouth Bass trips are catch and release.
