With a variety of strategically placed blinds, including open water spots surrounded by islands, we can adapt to daily wind and bird patterns for optimal hunting conditions. Our diverse locations allow us to target a
wide range of waterfowl, including diver ducks, puddle ducks, and even tundra swans. Most of our hunting spots are within about half an hour of Kitty Hawk, depending on the conditions, making it an ideal place to book your stay.

What You Need
Bring your North Carolina hunting license, signed duck stamp, foul weather gear, shells (3 ½-inch #3 or #2 shot recommended), drinks, and snacks. We'll handle the rest to ensure your experience is seamless and enjoyable.
Hunting Seasons and Limits
Currituck Sound offers a variety of waterfowl hunting opportunities, with specific seasons and limits for ducks, sea ducks, geese, brant, and tundra swans. For example:
- Ducks: October 2-5, November 16-December 2, December 14-January 31 (6 per day)
- Tundra Swans: November 9-January 31 (1 per day with a valid permit)
- Light Geese: October 8-February 8 (25 per day, no possession limit)
