Captain Barry has spent more than 35 years fishing the waters of British Columbia and over a decade running charters out of Port Alberni. A lifelong British Columbia resident, he has developed an extensive understanding of the Salmon migrations, seasonal fisheries, and diverse marine ecosystems that make Vancouver Island one of the world's premier fishing destinations.

His passion extends beyond simply catching fish. Captain Barry enjoys sharing the beauty of the region with guests, from the incredible mountain scenery to the abundant wildlife that calls these waters home. Whether you're chasing your first Salmon, targeting a trophy Chinook, or experiencing West Coast fishing for the first time, he works hard to create a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience on the water.
