Captain Don has always loved fishing. He grew up in Ohio, fishing for Smallmouth Bass and Walleye. When he got older, he spent 6 years as a U.S. Marine and fished in North Carolina and Southern California. I moved to Islamorada in 1986 when my enlistment was over. Been fishing ever since!
Join Captain Don for a fun day at sea! You'll be fishing aboard his 28' ProLine center console, equipped with twin Suzuki outboards, riggers, bait wells, and more! Enjoy catching a variety of offshore and reef fish including Sailfish, Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi), Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Gag Grouper, and Snapper. These fish are extremely exciting catches, whether this is your first trip of your hundredth! In addition, they're absolutely delicious eating, and Captain Don is happy to clean them for you at the end of the trip. Captain Don will provide everything you need for your offshore fishing adventure, including your fishing license, plenty of bottled water, live bait and professional fishing rods and reels. Captain Don’t was top notch all around. I took my 14-year old son offshore and even though we booked a full day, my son got sick and Captain Don was extremely accommodating and understanding. Great captain for a rough seas trip! Captain Don was very accommodating when the seas were 3-5’ waves and we were debating whether or not we would go! We ended up leaving a little later to see if the winds called down. He navigated us professionally through some pretty rough seas and we fished in 3 different spots. 2 of us were pretty sick and he was very kind and compassionate….the show must go on though he fished with the other 2 people in our group and we caught lots of yummy fish! We took his suggestion and went to Lazy Days where they cooked it all up! Highly recommend this boat! …
