Soooo many....heaviest was a monster Tiger Shark(estimated 1200lbs). My favorite big fish are blue marlin when Trolling. My largest ~600lbs

How did you get started guiding?
I took a charter to learn how to fish a new area while in the USN. I realized that one day if the opportunity presented itself, I'd love to share my passion of fishing with others. I have fished all over the USA and in other countries.
What makes you different from other guides?
I just love sharing my passion with others. I can't make the fish bite but i can give the absolute best experience possible on the water. Each and everyday I am able to spend on the water is a blessing.

This was the highlight of our trip to Charleston! Family of four with a 16 year old daughter and 13 year old son who both love to fish. We booked a 3 hour morning excursion. Carlo communicated with me thru the days leading up to make sure we knew what to bring, where to park, restroom situation, etc. He was all ready for us and we had the BEST trip! He has a great boat, awesome gear, was ready with bait for us, taught us how to cast (and did it for us if we needed a precision cast!), and is an all-around great guy to fish with! He has such great stories, which made the morning so fun and interesting. We all caught several different types of fish, we all caught one stingray (so cool!) and even a blue crab trying to rip off shrimp bait! The experience was worth every penny and my only regret was not booking Carlo for a longer fishing trip. Really, if you think you want to take a fishing charter, book Carlo and you will NOT be disappointed! 12/10 stars Thanks again, Carlo!!

He knew the right spots, and over 4 hours our party of 5 caught more than 30 fish representative of almost 10 different species, including an couple of really fun bonnett head shark fights (we caught 4 sharks without trying to catch sharks). A great introduction to fishing for my first-timer son (7 years old) and a great time for his cousins (age 13 and 17) and me and my brother-in-law. I can't recommend Capt. Carlo strongly enough. I'll definitely be booking with him next time we are back in Charleston. Thanks to Captain Experiences for making the whole process so simple and effective. A+++++++

We had to cut the day short for some people and take them back to the dock but Carlo offer to take the rest of us back out for a couple more hours after.
