Perch, or Common Bream. With such a variety of fish in these waters, you never know what’s going to be on the other end of your line. Any legal-sized fish is yours to keep, and catch cleaning is available for an additional fee if you’d like to take home a fresh dinner.
Captain Ray uses a range of techniques to put you on the fish, including spinning, trolling, jigging, popping, and bottom fishing with both light and heavy tackle. No matter your experience level, he’ll make sure you’re set up with the best approach for the conditions that day. Rods, reels, and lures are all provided.
You'll be fishing from a comfortable 20’ pontoon boat,with plenty of space for up to four passengers. This trip is great for families, friends, or anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing yet action-packed day on the water. Captain Ray welcomes anglers of all ages, making this a perfect way to get the kids off their screens and onto an adventure. If you need child-sized life vests, be sure to ask in advance or bring your own.
Before coming aboard, make sure to purchase a Texas fishing license for everyone in your group. Bring along sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, snacks, and drinks to stay comfortable throughout the trip. Alcohol is not allowed on board.
