trip description for Plymouth Striped Bass Special in Plymouth

Whether you've been catching Stripers for years, or are still waiting to hook these awesome sportfish, this trip with Captain Tyler will be a blast! Striped Bass, known as Stripers or Rockfish, are a sea-run fish that exist in huge numbers off the East Coast. They're fun fighters that offer a challenge for any angler, and taste great fried, blackened, or on the grill as well. In addition, you'll be able to hook up Black Seabass, Flounder, and Bluefish on this trip! You'll primarily be trolling and drifting for Stripers. When one rod dips, get ready—you might be on a school of 'em! East Coast Striped Bass can get huge, sometimes clearing 35 inches, so be prepared for a slugfest once a trophy fish is on the line. Captain Tyler runs a 28' Whitewater center console with a 300-horsepower Mercury outboard. The boat is also equipped with a full suite of Simrad electronics. Tyler will provide everything you need for an awesome trip, including top-tier rods, reels, live bait, and tackle. Bring along proper clothing, sun protection, sunglasses, and a cooler with some snacks and drinks, and you'll have a blast! There's no better way to experience offshore Massachusetts fishing than a Striper trip with Captain Tyler. Read More

trip description for Plymouth Big Tuna Chase in Plymouth

Bluefin Tuna deserve a spot on every offshore angler's bucket list. They're big, fast, and aggressive, built like torpedos and evolved to chase down bait in deep, cold water. When it comes to locating, hooking, and landing Bluefin, Captain Tyler is a pro and he'll do everything under the sun to get you on a personal record. This trip is not for the faint of heart. You'll be getting deep offshore, and fishing for 12 hours, minimum, in search of a trophy Bluefin. You'll also be able to troll for other pelagics, including Mahi, Thresher Sharks, and more! To catch big Bluefin, you'll employ a range of techniques including trolling, kitefishing, casting, and more. Bluefin travel in schools, so its not uncommon to get multiple "rods down" at once. Keep an eye on the action on the deck, or relax in the comfortable cabin until you hear the drag start screaming! Captain Tyler runs his offshore trips on a 33' Conch center console. Tyler will provide everything you need for an awesome trip, including top-tier rods, reels, live bait, and tackle. Bring along proper clothing, sun protection, sunglasses, and a cooler with some snacks and drinks, and you'll have a blast! There's no better way to experience offshore Massachusetts fishing than a Bluefin trip with Captain Tyler. Read More
