About Your Trip
Spend a day on the water learning the craft of bass fishing with a retired Elite Series Pro, Lee, a seasoned angler with more than 25 years of professional tournament experience and over 40 years on the water chasing bass. This is a hands-on instructional fishing trip designed to help anglers of all skill levels understand how to locate, target, and catch bass more effectively in real-world conditions.
Throughout the trip, you will gain insight
into the same techniques and decision-making processes used at the highest levels of competitive bass fishing. From reading water and understanding seasonal movement patterns to refining lure selection and presentation, Lee shares practical knowledge built from decades of time spent on lakes across the country. His approach focuses on teaching “Fishing Factors,” helping anglers recognize the conditions that influence bass behavior and how to adjust on the fly to stay productive throughout the day.
On the water, you will be actively fishing while learning how to break down structure, identify key holding areas, and make high percentage casts. Techniques may include working docks, grass lines, points, drop-offs, and submerged structure depending on the lake and conditions. Every part of the trip is designed to build confidence and improve on-the-water decision making while keeping rods bent and opportunities consistent.
All rods, reels, and tackle are provided, making this an easy and accessible trip for anyone looking to improve their bass fishing skills or simply enjoy a guided day on the water with a professional angler. Lee’s experience brings a structured yet relaxed teaching style that allows anglers to learn at their own pace while staying engaged in active fishing.
One unique feature of this trip is the “hook up with a fish, or only pay $100 for expenses” policy, reflecting the confidence in both the fishing and the instruction provided. While conditions can always vary, the goal is to ensure every trip delivers both education and opportunity on the water.
Guests should bring their own food, drinks, and rain gear if weather conditions call for it. This is a focused, educational bass fishing experience built around real tournament knowledge, practical instruction, and time on productive water with Lee.
