Hello! I’m James. After graduating from Tarleton State University, I embarked on this exciting journey, and we are now celebrating our sixth year in business. Owning my own guiding service has always been a dream of mine, though I initially didn’t know what type of guiding I would pursue. With over 18 years of bowfishing experience under my belt, I can confidently say that this passion drives everything we do.

When you join us on one of our trips, my goal is to ensure you leave with the knowledge and confidence to shoot a bow effectively by the end of the day. I am dedicated to providing you with a memorable experience, which is why I minimize my phone usage during our guided trips. The only time you’ll see me on my phone is to capture the incredible moments of your adventure!

How did you get started guiding?

Always wanted to have my own guide service growing up. I thought it was the coolest thing ever when I was around 10 years old that people were making a living as being a guide. After college I found a boat that was big enough for a bowfishing guide service and I build the boat from the ground up then started working on the business side of things. Now I am going on year 6 of owning this business and I still love it as i did from day 1.

What makes you different from other guides?

Always keeping an open mind and listening to what the customers are saying. One thing I make sure to do it to never be on my phone during a guided trip, I want to give my full attention to the customer!

We recognized the importance of having one of the finest bowfishing boats in the industry. That’s when we embarked on the design and construction of our custom bowfishing boat.

- Spacious Design: We prioritized ample walking space with a flush deck, eliminating the tripping hazards commonly found on other boats.
- Stability: Measuring 22 feet in length and 8 feet in width, our boat ensures a stable and comfortable outing.
- Powerful Performance: Equipped with a 225 Mercury Pro XS, we guarantee a swift return to the ramp, even after an exciting night of shooting a ton of fish!

No prior experience is necessary—our expert guides will provide you with everything you need for an unforgettable day on the water. We supply all the essential equipment; the only requirement is a current Texas fishing license. Our primary fishing locations include Lake Granbury, Lake Whitney, Possum Kingdom, Lake Grapevine.
