Captain Jamie grew up working as a mate on head boats and charters boats in the Northeast. Captain Jamie moved to the Florida Keys in his early twenties to pursue a career as a guide. He spent a couple years running light tackle and offshore boats out of Key West, before accepting a job on St. John in the Virgin Islands. He guided there for 2 years, targeting Marlin, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and other species. Captain Jamie moved back to the Keys to establish his own charter business so he can offer the best experience to anglers pursuing gamefish on fly or light tackle.

In this 4-hour trip, I got a crash coursein fly fishing from one of the best. Jamie’s super laid-back, easy to talk to, and knows the area like the back of his hand. We wrapped up the trip with a gorgeous sunset; it was a 10/10 day all around. Even with the slow bite, it was one of the most scenic, educational, and unforgettable trips I’ve ever been on!
