Recent Fishing Reports

Late October 2026
October is normally one of my favorite months for fishing particularly offshore. Due to heavy 15 to 25 mph Northeast winds and rainy conditions, offshore has been a no go. However, I can get out for my Stone Crab charters where I pull my traps, harvest the claws and give to the guests. The Stone Crab fishery is truly sustainable, I prefer not keep inshore fish due to the pressure they face. We then head inshore for catch & release redfish, snook, trout and crevalle jacks. The latter of which have been roaming Estero Bay in large aggressive schools, what they lack in table fare they make up with a hungry disposition and a hard fight. Live bait has been plentiful albeit of the small side. Capt. Brett
