I am capt Stephen, native to the Savannah area. I grew up fishing freshwater and saltwater, with a love for the sport. It's my passion and I try to convey that to every one of my clients that step on the boat. If an activity has something to do with the outdoors, I am all about it. I hunt, trap, fish, and just enjoy being out in nature.

How did you get started guiding?

Went to Alaska on a fishing trip with some friends and had that "ah ha" moment while talking to the captains. Immediately signed up for classes and obtained my license shortly thereafter.

What makes you different from other guides?

I don't make it solely about catching fish. Sure, that's the goal, but I want the ultimate achievement to have smiles and laughter that create stories my clients will tell for a lifetime.

We depart from tybee island marina on a quest to catch red drum, speckled trout, flounder, sheepshead, black drum, and many other species. Seasonal species we may encounter are jack crevalle, tarpon, Spanish mackerel, and "bull reds" (red drum over 36").
