Our wreck and reef trip is a meat mayhem, mainly targeting all bottom species including but not limited to Grouper, Snapper, trigger, Vermilion, etc. as well as the bigger reef dwellers such as Shark, Kingfish, Cobia, and Bonito. On this trip, we visit deep water wrecks between 10-20 miles on our 8 hr trips,20-30 miles on our 10 hr, and from 30-40 miles on our 12 hour to target trophy-sized fish. Paid for a fishing trip for 6. Only 4 people ended up being able to fish. Captain was not very knowledgeable about which species of fish were legal to keep. As with all saltwater fishing, more concerned with ways to mark time and burn hours than actually catch fish. Especially the fish we were after. …
