Experience the beautiful canyon lake as well as excellent fishing and a once, in a lifetime experience, that will create memories that will last a lifetime!

Family owned, operated, and established in 2013. With Captain Tyler you will get the best experience possible. Owner and soul operator - Tyler has over 30 years fishing experience on Canyon Lake and over a decade guiding experience. Tyler is also a fully licensed fishing guide as well as a certified Texas Parks and wildlife angler education instructor.

Our trips are fully guided private experiences. This will include everything you need for the trip including all rods, reels, tackle, equipment, fish cleaning, and your guided experience. All you must have is a valid Texas fishing license for anybody 17 or older. There will also be cold waters and plenty of cold and dry storage for anything else you would like to bring. Also lifejackets and plenty of sunscreen if needed.

Early September 2026

It’s a wonderful time to be on Canyon Lake! The lake is full and the fishing continues to get better and better. With cooler temperatures in the 70s at night the last week or two, the fish have started to move a little bit closer to all those beautiful newly flooded bank lines. It will only get better and better over the next few weeks as we continue to have these cooler nights.

These fish have been holding out just a little deeper. As they move in, focus on creek drains and channels leading into the backs of pockets and creeks, secondary points near these Creek arms, and drains leading into the backs of these pockets where these fish can sit comfortably until they are able to move up into the shallows. I would focus on these areas earlier in the day. 10-15 feet of water. Small swim baits, underpins, and wacky worms can get lots of bites. You’re not throwing into the bushes, you are casting to the edge of them. Make sure you aren’t sitting on top of the fish.

Later in the day, I would still focus on the same thing as the last few weeks. Focus on deep structure that these fish can relate to 20 to 30 feet of water. Wind blown points, river channel swings, ledges, and any good transition in those depths.

Dropshot has been my favorite way to catch them lately but a shakey head, finesse jig, or light Texas rig will get it done.

Mid August 2026

Fishing has been great on canyon lake the last week! Drop shot in 25-30 foot has been the ticket. The lake came up and alot of the fish are still holding to the old bank. Rocky drops and grass around these depths has been the ticket.

Late June 2026

The kids are having a blast this summer! Fishing has been great with the lake coming as a couple feet. The fish have been spread out early morning top water chatter bait and spring has been the ticket after the sun comes out the edge of the grass out deep has been holding plenty of fish to catch. There's also a good number of stripers and blue catfish holding to the treetops off the main river channel. Fishing should be good for the next couple of months as a Lake has seen so much needed rain.
