Fishing with Captain
Mike means chasing some of the Gulf’s most exciting species, depending on the season. You might hook into Red and Gag Grouper, Mangrove or Red Snapper, Cobia, Permit, Blackfin Tuna, Tripletail, African Pompano, and plenty more. You’ll use a variety of techniques—from bottom fishing and trolling to jigging and light tackle—to match conditions and target species.
You’ll head out aboard a 28’ Grady White center console, fully equipped with GPS, radar, fishfinder, wireless trolling motor, a live bait well, and even a bathroom for your convenience. With space for up to six passengers, there’s plenty of room to relax while you wait for the next rod to bend. A professional First Mate is also on board to assist throughout the trip—just remember that a 20% tip is standard for their hard work.
All gear, tackle, bait, licenses, and even catch cleaning are included, along with cold water to keep you hydrated. Just bring your snacks, sun protection, and a good attitude—and if you're bringing kids, check ahead about child-sized life vests.
Half-Day (4 Hours):
These quick, family-friendly trips are perfect for a morning or afternoon on the water. Weather permitting, you'll head just offshore to target seasonal favorites like Snapper, Sheepshead, and Cobia. This is a great option for beginners, families with young kids, or anyone short on time but looking to get hooked up.
3/4 Day (6 Hours):
With extra time to roam farther out, Captain Mike takes you up to 40 miles offshore in search of Grouper, Snapper, and pelagic species like Cobia and Blackfin Tuna. Whether you’re trolling for fast movers or dropping bait on a reef, this trip offers a great mix of action and variety with plenty of chances to load up the cooler.
Full Day (8 Hours):
This is where things really start to heat up. You'll head up to 50 miles offshore to chase down trophy catches and reef dwellers alike. Grouper and Snapper are prime targets, along with seasonal pelagics that love to put up a fight. With top-of-the-line gear and Captain Mike’s expert coaching, this trip offers serious potential for big fish and big memories.
Extended Day (10 Hours):
For the ultimate offshore adventure, this trip takes you up to 80 miles into the Gulf. It’s all about hunting down the biggest and best the Gulf has to offer—from Amberjack and African Pompano to Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and monster Grouper. If you're after a true deep sea experience with nonstop action, this is your trip.
