Get out on the Lake Winnebago system for a hands-on, action-focused day targeting fish the way they’re meant to be caught—active, engaged, and rod in hand. This is open water fishing built around movement, adjustments, and staying on the bite, whether you’re new to the sport or looking to sharpen your approach.

Trips take place across the expansive waters of Winnebago and surrounding lakes, giving you access to productive areas based on season, conditions, and fish movement. The focus is on “hands-on” techniques like jigging, casting, and slip bobber fishing—keeping you involved from start to finish rather than sitting back and waiting.

Every trip is designed to be both productive and approachable, with the right balance of guidance and independence. You’ll learn how to read water, adjust presentations, and understand what’s working throughout the day while still having plenty of opportunities to put fish in the boat.

All rods, reels, and tackle are provided, so you can show up ready to fish. At the end of the trip, your catch will be cleaned and prepped for you during open water season. Just bring your food, drinks, weather-appropriate clothing, and a valid Wisconsin fishing license (paper copy required on federal waters).
