Whether you prefer a morning or afternoon trip, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to hook into some of the Midwest’s finest freshwater fighters.
Morning trips typically leave the dock between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM, giving you a shot at the
early bite as the lake comes alive. If you’re not an early riser, afternoon trips start between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, offering a relaxing midday experience with plenty of action.
Captain Brian has spent over 20 years fishing these waters, bringing both knowledge and excitement to every trip. He started as a First Mate at age 14 and earned his U.S. Coast Guard Captain’s License at 18. With his experience and passion for fishing, you’ll be in good hands whether it’s your first time on the lake or you’re a seasoned angler.
On this trip, you’ll be trolling for Chinook Salmon—known for their power, speed, and incredible fights. Captain Brian uses a variety of techniques, from light and heavy tackle to specialized trolling spreads with artificial lures, ensuring you have the best chance of landing a trophy fish.
You’ll be fishing from a classic 36’ Pacemaker sportfisher powered by twin Crusader engines with 750 total horsepower. This boat is built for comfort and performance, with plenty of space for up to six anglers. Inside, you’ll find a clean restroom, a couch for relaxing between bites, and a cooler with ice to keep your catch fresh.
Captain Brian provides all the rods, reels, and tackle you’ll need, and he can clean your catch for an additional fee back at the dock. Bring your favorite drinks and snacks—beer is welcome, just no glass containers.
