Tom and Dan have spent more than two decades guiding anglers across some of the world's most respected trout fisheries. They began their full-time guiding careers in 2003 on Montana's Flathead River system, leading both day trips and multi-day wilderness float expeditions through the Bob Marshall Wilderness before spending time guiding the legendary rivers and lakes of Chilean Patagonia. Since returning home, they've guided year-round throughout Western Massachusetts since 2007. Explore the rivers of Western Massachusetts and Southern Vermont on a guided fly fishing float built for anglers of all experience levels. Choose a half-day trip lasting 3–4 hours or a full-day trip lasting 7–8 hours, with additional time on the full-day option to cover more water, practice techniques, and settle into the rhythm of the river.

Your guide will handle the rowing, fly selection, knots, and other technical details while helping you improve your casting, presentation, and approach. Depending on the river and seasonal conditions, you may target Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Northern Pike, and other local species from a custom-built fishing raft.

These trips are well suited for beginners learning the basics, experienced fly anglers looking to explore new water, and families hoping to fit a fishing experience into their vacation. Essential fishing gear is provided, but guests should bring a valid Massachusetts or Vermont fishing license, weather-appropriate clothing, rain gear, polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, food, drinks, necessary medications, and a dry change of clothes.

With experienced local guides and year-round knowledge of the region’s fisheries, each trip is adjusted around current river and weather conditions to give anglers an enjoyable day exploring New England’s scenic waterways.
