Response from Gene:
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Iguana hunting is true wildlife hunting in an uncontrolled, natural environment. Weather conditions, cloud cover, temperature, time of day, recent hunting pressure in the area, animal behavior, all play a significant role in how active the iguanas are and how visible they may be.
Unlike a controlled range or target setting, this
is real-world hunting where sightings and opportunities can vary greatly from trip to trip. Some outings produce dozens of opportunities, others can be more challenging depending on conditions that are outside of anyone’s control.
Our captains work extremely hard to put guests in the best possible position for success based on their experience, scouting, and knowledge of the waterways, but wildlife does not operate on a schedule.
We truly appreciate you coming out with us and we understand that this type of hunt may not be what everyone expects. Your feedback is valuable and helps us continue to educate future guests on the nature of a true wildlife hunt.
We wish you all the best on your future adventures.
