On these 4- to 8-hour inshore trips, you'll fish the rich waters around rocky coastlines, reefs, and river mouths using live bait caught
during the trip, as well as lures and light tackle techniques like trolling, spinning, jigging, and popping. Depending on the time of year, you can expect to target exciting species such as Roosterfish, Snapper, Snook, Spanish Mackerel, Tripletail, Barracuda, Jack Crevalle, and more.
Your fishing platform is a 27’ Costa Boat that comfortably fits up to 4 anglers and comes fully equipped with a live bait well, GPS, fishfinder, outriggers, ice box, and even a portable toilet inside the center console. It’s the perfect setup for exploring the Pacific coast in comfort and style.
Each trip includes:

Roosterfish are catch-and-release only, but other legal fish are yours to keep—and the crew will gladly clean them for you at the end of the day. If you land a trophy Rooster, Captain Riccardo can even arrange to have a fiberglass replica made so you can remember your catch for years to come.
Trips depart from Marina Pez Vela in Quepos, with both morning and afternoon departures available for half-day, 3/4 day, and full-day trips. All you need to bring is your Costa Rica fishing license (available at the marina for $17/person), sun protection, and whatever personal items you’d like on board.
