Craig runs his guide service out of Garibaldi, Oregon. He operates his trips on the Nehalem Bay and the Columbia River, home of the world-famous Buoy 10 salmon and sturgeon fishery, from Astoria to the Bonneville Dam. Whatever location you choose, you will be fishing the best spots with the greatest chance of catching fish. With over 40 years of fishing experience, Craig knows how to create an exciting trip.

Fishing out of a 29’ D Tech, he can accommodate up to 6 anglers. The boat is powered by a Suzuki 250 engine and Yamaha kicker motor with Garmin electronics. The boat is wheelchair accessible and he encourages all guests with disabilities to join him on board and encourage sharing the adventure with kids as well. He likes to implement a whole suite of different fishing techniques such as trolling, jigging and spinning to suit the fishery.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The crabbing trip was everything we hoped for and more. We had the best boating experience and crabbing experience that I believe a person could have. The weather was horrible and the catch the day before was minimal. Captain Craig is one of the most knowledgeable and friendliest guides I have ever chartered with. He was especially good with my grandchildren and made them feel part of the trip. His boat is one of the most comfortable I have been on and he shared his experience with all kinds of fishing. He was open and honest and we felt no pressure to do things only his way. He was prompt and courteous and even stayed out an extra hour to see if we could get more crab. The only question we had is if we were pulling empty pots, why did we stay in that area and not move to another place? We did not get a limit of crabs but saw that most other boats at the dock did.
