Joel is a seasoned tournament angler and guide with over 25 years of experience fishing the lakes of North Carolina and Virginia. He’s a 3-time tournament winner, an 8-time FLW Cup qualifier, and a 3-time consecutive Red Man All-American qualifier, with a track record that includes 25 top-10 finishes across 184 MLF events.

His competitive background gives him a strong understanding of how to break down water, adjust to conditions, and consistently find fish. He enjoys working with anglers of all skill levels and especially helping visiting tournament anglers get familiar with local waters.

Joel keeps things straightforward and focused—his goal is to help you have a productive day, share what he’s learned over decades on the water, and make sure you walk away with a better understanding of how to catch fish.
