I started fishing Lake Erie as a young kid with my grandfather about 25 years ago. He taught me so much about the lake and fishing, as I grew older I was the guy running everything. He just enjoyed driving the boat, watching me run the rods and helping family and friends catch fish. In 2015, I got my first boat of my own after a couple years of off time (my pap got too old for Erie), ever since then I have been fishing as much as possible learning a lot of different techniques and parts of the lake. In 2020, I purchased my boat in preparation of starting my own charter fishing company. Looking forward to showing you the amazing fishing experience Lake Erie has to offer!

About Your Trip

Join Captain Ryan for a thrilling day of walleye trolling on Lake Erie, one of the best walleye fisheries in the country. This seven-hour trip is all about chasing trophy-sized fish using a spread of plugs, spoons, and planer boards. Whether you're a seasoned angler or new to trolling, Captain Ryan will have you dialed in on the bite, covering waters anywhere from two to eighteen miles offshore.

You'll be fishing aboard a 27’ Sportfisher,
a spacious and stable boat built for Great Lakes trolling. Outfitted with top-of-the-line rods, reels, and tackle, this vessel is set up to maximize your chances of landing quality fish. A restroom on board ensures a comfortable trip, and you’re welcome to bring along your own music with the Bluetooth speaker system.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included, and Captain Ryan is happy to cater to anglers of all experience levels. Kids are welcome to join in on the fun, making this a great trip for families looking to create lasting memories. Once back at the dock, fish cleaning is available for an additional fee, so you can take home fresh fillets ready for the grill.

Be sure to bring weather-appropriate clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen, and your favorite food and drinks. Beer is welcome, but please, no glass bottles. Pack a cooler for your catch, and get ready for an action-packed day on the water.
