These trips focus on the inshore waters off the New Jersey coast,
where anglers commonly target species such as Striped Bass, Bluefish, and Fluke (Summer Flounder) depending on the season. These fisheries provide exciting action and are perfect for both experienced anglers and those trying ocean fishing for the first time.
You’ll be fishing aboard a 46’ Hatteras sportfishing vessel, an open express-style boat that allows everyone to stay outside and enjoy the action while lines are in the water. Powered by twin 735 HP Detroit Diesel engines with a cruising speed of around 20 knots, the boat gets you quickly and comfortably to productive fishing grounds.
The vessel is equipped with professional-grade electronics including two GPS plotters, dual VHF radios, a Furuno fishfinder, and 72-mile radar, helping the crew locate fish and navigate safely offshore.
Inside the cabin, guests will find a variety of comfort amenities including air conditioning and heat, two staterooms, a large galley, and a full bathroom with shower. The galley includes a microwave, stove, refrigerator, freezer, and sink, while the cabin also features a TV, DVD player, and satellite stereo system for relaxing between bites.
Captain Mike holds a 100-ton U.S. Coast Guard license and is joined by his longtime friend and deckhand, who works hard to keep lines baited, assist with fish, and ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience.
The crew uses high-quality rods and reels from Penn, Shimano, and Daiwa, giving anglers the gear needed to handle powerful saltwater fish.
Safety is always a priority. The boat is equipped with an 8-person life raft, EPIRB, and multiple offshore life jackets, ensuring a well-prepared and professionally operated charter.
Trips accommodate 1–6 guests, making them perfect for families, groups of friends, or small outings on the water. A deckhand will assist throughout the trip, and a 15% tip is customary for their hard work.
