This was my second trip with Ken and the first was excellent... but he still managed to provide us with another fantastic day. I had a novice fly fisherman with me but Ken put us on lots of brown trout, some rainbows and a rare Tiger trout. He is a great guide and I will use him again and highly recommend Ken to anyone of any level who wants to fish in Denver area. …
We had a fantastic day, caught four species of trout and I learned a lot from Ken. Will fish with him again for aure!
Our trip with Ken outside of Jefferson, CO was incredible! Ken had every detail covered (including donuts :)) when we arrived river side. The Tarryall Creek was gorgeous and we had a couple mile stretch all to ourselves. Ken is an extremely talented guide who made the experience educational and exciting. Having a trout rise on a dry fly is truly exhilarating!! We highly recommend Ken! On top of the amazing time on the river we were treated to a mouthwatering delicious river side BBQ. The entire day was memorable and we can’t wait to come back and spend a day with Ken and Dan again. …
Just got back from a half day solo trip with Ken. I never write reviews but feel compelled to do so. But what more can I say than whats already been said. My day exceeded my expectations. It was my first time every trying out the sport of fly fishing & not only did I catch ~10 trout, it was a pleasure spending the morning/afternoon with Ken. He knows his stuff, genuinely cares about how youre doing, and is a great conversationalist and genuine, nice guy. It was great to get to know him. He is also very competitive which rubs off on you but he doesn't pick his own rod once, the day is completely focused on the client, so he does everything in his power to make you successful and wants you to catch as many as possible: constantly changing out flies, styles, and rods and teaching you and coaching you on the whole time. I am already planning my next trip with him and will bring my gf along as well since I know she will enjoy his teaching style, knowledge of all the best spots, and supplying all the food/drinks/fishing gear. Thanks Ken for an awesome day. …
Simply put, Ken is a pleasure to fish with. He is knowledgeable, skilled, and entertaining. We had a fantastic day on the water! Ken provides everything you need. He has more flies than most fly shops and he also provides snacks, drinks and lunch. I don't get to the Denver area very often, but I'll make a point of fishing with Ken each time I do. It was without question a five star experience …
Ken was an amazing guide and so very friendly with a great sense of humor. He was very patient no matter what and put us on fish throughout the day. I would highly recommend him!
