Captain Chase is a native of the Alabama Gulf Coast with 25+ years of experience fishing these waters. From inshore reefs to deep offshore runs, he knows where the fish move, when they bite, and how to put his guests on them. Easygoing, patient, and passionate about what he does, Captain Chase has a natural way of turning first-time customers into longtime friends.

This is a true family-run operation. Captain Chase runs the boat, his wife manages the business behind the scenes, and their daughters are already learning the ropes — reeling in fish and growing up on the water. That family atmosphere carries into every trip. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or it’s your first time offshore, you’ll feel right at home aboard.

Trips take place aboard a spacious 60-foot Rose Brothers sportfisher built for comfort and serious fishing. With room for up to 23 guests, large private groups can spread out and enjoy the ride. The boat features a fully air-conditioned salon, private restroom, bunk space, advanced electronics, and a massive back deck that gives anglers plenty of room to fish comfortably.

Based out of Fort Morgan, away from the heavy crowds, Capt. Chase offers a more laid-back Gulf Coast experience with easy access to productive fishing grounds. From trolling for pelagics to bottom fishing for reef species like red snapper and triggerfish (when in season), every trip is tailored to the group onboard. Dolphins are frequent visitors, sunsets are unforgettable, and guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks to make it a true day on the water.

Captain Chase and his crew are fully licensed and federally permitted, prioritizing safety, professionalism, and a first-class experience from dock to dock. My family went on a 6 hour trip with captain Chase and first mate House. It was the best trip ever. We limited out on snapper and caught some really big fish. Chase and House were the best. The morning started out rough for the boat owners they were debating whether or not to cancel. A storm rolled in the night before and the power went out so the batteries weren’t charged and one of engines wouldn’t start. They took the risk and it paid off. had a great time and caught tons of fish. Pictures don’t do it justice: Only had one engine and still
got out there back without complaining and spent alot of time in the engine compartment when it was probably over 200 degrees in there. Highly recommend!!! Can’t wait to go again.

Chase and House were amazing!! Chase put us on great red snapper right out of the gate and House was more than accommodating. Literally can not say enough good things about this trip as a whole. The boat was a very comfortable size and exceptionally well appointed. The air conditioned cabin with a bathroom came in very handy for the little kids who gave out on fishing before everyone else. They had everything from a fridge and microwave to a grill out on the deck. We were an inexperienced group but with Chase and House helping out we managed to catch our limit in no time. Very hospitable and friendly people and we will absolutely be scheduling with them again. Thanks again guys!!

We had the best experience with Captain Chase and his deckhand House. We had 6 adults and 7 kids under 10 and they had an experience they’ll never forget! The boat was roomy to accommodate our group, the little ones could rest inside out of the heat and watch dvds when they needed a break, and the deck had Bluetooth and coolers for the grownups.

The care and attention our group was given was top notch! We were always being helped or checked on, and they worked to make sure the kids enjoyed themselves, which meant so much to us. And of course, they knew how to find the fish! Every person in the group brought up several beautiful fish, which House expertly filleted and gave us great cooking tips!

Next time we are in Alabama, we’ll absolutely book with Captain Chase again!
