I have been fishing for over 20 years competitively and professionally. I obtained a degree from Auburn University in Fisheries Management with an emphasis in sport fish management. When my wife and I moved to Destin, I started in the charter fishing industry as a deckhand on a party boat. From that point on I knew this was my calling and began to climb the ladder. The joy that I have from building relationships with my clients is a blessing and I am grateful to have the opportunity to support my family doing what I truly love. Fishing is more than a profession for me, it’s become my life and life is good. I am blessed to call the Emerald Coast my home and I can’t wait to share all that our waters have to offer with your family too!

How did you get started guiding?

My wife and I moved to the area after I graduated college and she encouraged me to chase what I have always been passionate about. I started on head boats and transitioned to private sport fishing charters. Once I had my captains license I started running charters for a great business owner and God blessed me with the opportunity to run my own charter.

Slow day of fishing but Alex worked hard to make sure we didn’t leave empty headed! This trip was a gift to our high school
