We were quite disappointed in our experience. Cade is a nice young man, but asked us nothing about our fishing experience or expectations for the day. Our first fishing spot was about 300 yards from the launch ramp where we caught about 5 or 6 fish, with the biggest being about 8 inches. We then traveled about 35 minutes to the second location which was under a highway bridge.. We caught about 4 or 5...

We were quite disappointed in our experience. Cade is a nice young man, but asked us nothing about our fishing experience or expectations for the day. Our first fishing spot was about 300 yards from the launch ramp where we caught about 5 or 6 fish, with the biggest being about 8 inches. We then traveled about 35 minutes to the second location which was under a highway bridge.. We caught about 4 or 5 fish, with the biggest being about 10 inches. I understand that the guide cannot be responsible for the fish caught but it seemed like we were in locations that were targeting smaller fish. For the cost of the trip, we were expecting more of a "Gulf charter fishing experience." I would recommend not using this venue.

I was very disappointed with our guide who showed up late and was not prepared for our trip. He showed up with no bait for the trip and acted like it was no big deal. Then we drove around for one and half to try and find bait . He did manage to get a little bit of bait from another guide and some dead shrimp and we sat on a oil rig and caught a few fish . The trip was supposed to be for red fish and speckled trout not for Spanish mackerel so I was disappointed altogether and felt like we should have got a more professional service for how much we paid.

I did my best to make sure y'all caught fish and did just that. I also sent a message letting you know I was going to be late as I was cleaning fish for my first clients of the day. After talking to you on the phone after reading this review you admitted to knowing all these things mentioned. I am positive nothing I would have done would have made you happy but the rest of your group was having a great time catching fish. I know that I did my job and put y’all on fish that were biting. However, they rent out boats everyday and you can guide yourself next time since you know more about fishing the bay than the locals! Thanks for the review!

Cade also let you know that he thought spanish mackerel would be more productive than speckled trout and your group agreed to switch target species to have better odds of a successful trip (which worked in this case). Regardless, we still want to leave everyone with a good taste in their mouths and we've reached out to talk about a discount on a future trip here.
