You'll be fishing aboard a comfortable and well-equipped boat, designed for stability and plenty of fishing space. These waters are known for producing giant Catfish, and Captain Ryan specializes in targeting them using bottom fishing and drift fishing techniques. He’ll have all the gear and fresh bait ready to go—just bring your energy and get ready for a battle!

If you’d like to take home some smaller fish for a fresh fish fry, let Captain Ryan know ahead of time so he can plan accordingly. Otherwise, get ready to go after the true river monsters that lurk beneath the surface!

Captain Ryan provides a cooler stocked with extra water, but be sure to bring your own small cooler with food, drinks, and any personal items you may need. You’ll also want to check the weather forecast and dress accordingly for a comfortable day on the water.

Anyone 16 years or older must have a valid Tennessee fishing license before arrival. Licenses can be purchased online through TWRA or at local retailers like Walmart.
