When Captain Rodney was laid off in May 2016 from the oilfield, his son was also diagnosed with cancer. He immediately had to find an alternative resource to support his family.
He had owned his 27' Catamaran, "Revelry", since 2012 and figured he'd have to sell her to make ends meet. Instead, Captain Rodney's wife told him that he should put the boat to work given his love of fishing.
And the rest is history! In the first 5 months of 2016 his charter fished over 1,000 customers, and now, Captain Rodney & Co. have 6 boats in the fleet!

Offshore trips (a.k.a deep sea, bluewater) are run outside of 9 miles in US federal waters aboard “Killing Time”. At about 20 to 40 miles from shore, you can fish for Red Snapper, King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi (Dorado), Spanish Mackerel, Ling (Cobia), and Shark. Capt Marshall did an excellent job of putting us on the fish ! We started out in the surf but got tossed around pretty good. The capt. made the decision to take us inland to the Brazos river where we moved around a bit while catching a wide verity of keepers including a tagged bull red , speckled trout , flounders and others enough to fill the cooler box !
