About Your Trip

Join Captain Fred for a 6-hour inshore fishing trip targeting Fluke and Striped Bass aboard a spacious and comfortable 44’ Henriques Sportfisher. Departing from Oakdale Yacht Marina, this trip offers a relaxed and enjoyable experience for anglers of all levels—whether you're a seasoned fisherman or bringing the kids along for their first day on the water.

Captain Fred brings years of local knowledge to each trip, focusing on productive inshore waters depending on season and
conditions. You’ll fish primarily with cut and dead bait using techniques tailored to the day's targets. While live bait isn’t typically used, all rods, reels, tackle, and bait are included. At the end of the day, your catch will be cleaned and filleted so it’s ready to take home. Just remember to bring a soft cooler for transport—coolers are available on board for use during the trip.

The 44’ Henriques Sportfisher offers more than just fishability—it’s fully outfitted with a restroom, air conditioning, and Bluetooth audio so you can play your favorite music while cruising. There’s plenty of space to relax between bites and enjoy the day on the water in comfort.

This trip is kid-friendly and fully licensed, making it an easy and worry-free outing for families and groups. Please note that a standard 20% gratuity for the crew is customary but not included in the trip price.

Whether you're jigging for Fluke or working structure for Stripers, Captain Fred’s inshore trip delivers a well-rounded and enjoyable Long Island fishing experience—complete with expert guidance and first-class comfort.
