R&B, Blues, Jazz, Classic Rock! .When in the boat music can be chosen, however usually we find it to be distracting to our clients mission of catching their personal best trophy! We both love adventure movies! Lori has also likes thrillers and family westerns!

We are both Chiefs fans! We both love college football and baseball! We are a "house divided" when it comes to college games. Lori graduated from The University of Kansas and Gordon graduated from Kansas State University! We have a blast watching both teams! Of course during basketball season...Ku is exciting and triumphant! 🏀🎉

What’s your drink of choice?

Gordon loves fresh brewed iced tea! Lori's favorite is fresh squeezed lemonade!

How did you get started guiding?

We both fell in love with both The White River and The Norfork River via kayaks! We began with an older , narrow River Rat that we customized by painting the interior and had a vinyl rap made from a digital image of a brown trout Lori had caught! She was beautiful , however narrow for maneuvering with clients! We progressed to a custom Topwater, allowing comfort and safety for ourselves and our clients!.

Fishing with us is different than other guides in many ways. Lori is a dual degree nurse practitioner, so your safety is always priority! Gordon is an excellent teacher and will place our boat in the best possible location to ensure the best probability at catching your personal best! They work together as a smooth team, putting big fish in the boat , having the time of your life, all while staying safe! We provide CO2 vests, ensuring your safety! When the lights go out and its pitch dark on the river, this team puts big fish in the boat, creating lifelong memories for years to come!

Trips are subject to water flows from the dam; they need at least 50 MW flowing to be able to run the trips. Durations can change due to the flows as well, typically the trip is around 5 hours. Departure times can be affected by the flows, to align for the best possible opportunities.
