I have been fishing for my whole life with over 40 years of experience. I started at a young age fishing for small mouth at crooked creek and the Buffalo River. Over my lifetime I have fished all over Northwest Arkansas, Southwest Missouri, and Oklahoma. I have won numerous tournaments over the years. Most recently, the Yeti Big Bass tournament. I have fished for bass, walleye, trout, catfish, and more. I enjoy taking all levels of fishermen. My passion is teaching people to enjoy fishing and the beauty of life on the water.

The target species list covers serious ground: largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass alongside brown trout and rainbow trout, all within reach depending on the season and what's producing. Wes fishes year-round and adjusts his approach to match the conditions, working artificial lures, topwater presentations, jigs, light tackle, and live bait as the situation calls for it. When conditions align, topwater fishing on Table Rock can produce the kind of surface strikes that make freshwater fishing hard to walk away from, and Wes puts in the work to create those opportunities.

Early July 2026

Bass fishing has been good early of the morning and catching some nice walleye on table rock. On Taneycomo the trout fishing has been good; catching them mainly on night crawlers when water is off and drifting eggs when the water is on.

Mid June 2026

Trout fishing has been really good and the bass fishing is setting up into a summer pattern. Great fishing all around. Everybody has had a good time on the water with great memories made!
