Guided by Paul Johnson
Deep Sea
When you head out with Captain Paul and his charters, know the security of being guided to some of the best fishing in the world by one of the most knowledgeable and capable crews in the Florida Keys. Relish the first strike whether it be Dolphin, Tuna, Wahoo, Kingfish, or one of the more exotic billfish such as Sailfish or Marlin on a longer trip. Yes, it is easy to catch the excitement of a trip aboard the Reef Runner where either a stop at the Reef, or a search of the blue waters of the Gulfstream will most surely yield a catch to be proud of.

We had a great time! Captain Paul was great and John worked his butt off to get is on fish. Highly recommend.

I went on my 1st trip out of Islemorada with my son. The action was unbelievable! Capt Paul and his mate John put us on the fish early and often. It was our best fishing trip ever! It definitely won’t be our last. Thanks again Capt. Paul!
Robert
Captain Paul and John were excellent today. We had so much fun and were treated very well. Highly recommend him to anyone.

Had an amazing trip with Captain Paul and excellent deck hand John. We would recommend Paul, John, and Reef Runner to all looking to book an offshore trip.

Captain Paul and First Mate John were awesome. Captain Paul found fish quickly and after a school of Mahi would pass, he was able to find another quickly. John worked his butt off hooking up bait for the next school and changing lines as needed. Definitely a great time with knowledgeable fishermen. Wouldn’t hesitate to book another trip. …

Awesome fishing trip with captain Paul and John! Knowledgeable and very helpful! Got a lot of fish on and came back with some mahi! Cleaned out fish and filleted. Got recommendations on where to take our fish to eat and who to see to send our fish back home!
Paul
Capt. Paul and his mate John make the perfect team. The expertise and knowledge in which they performed their job made for an extremely successful and pleasant experience. We will definitely book a trip with Capt. Paul and John the next time we are in the keys.

Captain Paul and team were awesome. I’ve fished a lot of places and personality/attitude can make or break a trip. After all, it’s fishing and not catching so having a captain and crew with a good personality goes a long way to set the day. We enjoyed both the crew and a good fishing day. We pulled in 10 or 12 Mahi and then a large Wahoo trolling back in. Captain Paul even offered me some glasses when he thought I’d left mine. Highly recommend going out with them! …

My family and I here in Tavernier for vacation, this fishing trip was the main reason to vacation in the Keys. Our outing did not disappoint. Captain Paul and John were a pleasure to spend the day with. We all caught plenty of Mahi Mahi and Tuna. I highly recommend.
Patricia
The crew was wonderful. They were helpful and accommodating for my 90 year old father. This was definitely the highlight of our Keys vacation. Would definitely recommend!

Jonathan
Captain Paul and First Mate ed were great. Kind of a rough weather day (they gave us the iption to cancel) and they did everything possible to keep the ride as comfortable as they could. Ed did 3 hours of non-stop chumming/baiting and was determined to maximize our catch. I will look forward to our next day on the water. …

Though the seas were somewhat rough we had a great time. The first mate/captain did an excellent job very impressive. All and all the boys got a bucket list experience they can have for a lifetime. Thank You all for the work you did.
Kevin
Captain Paul and his shipmates Ed were very personable. However, we should have never left the dock. We were told that we would experience 2-3 foot waves. The wind and waves were so extreme that only one person was able to fish at a time. We had 5 on board. After 30 minutes or so, we had Captain Paul return to the dock as we were getting sea sick from the extreme rocking of the boat. With tip (I didn't stiff Shipmate Ed), we paid $1,000 for this fishing trip. I am extremely disappointed with this excursion. Kevin Q …
