I’m a Florida native here in Palm Beach who grew up on the water. Fishing, hunting, diving, surfing, and enjoying wildlife and nature here in our area has always been a passion of mine. I’ve worked on many boats from saltwater to freshwater. In February 2015, I received my 100-ton Captain License. I’m a certified Firefighter- paramedic and really enjoy helping people. I love being able to put a smile on a customer's face when they catch a fish and seeing their excitement when they reel in something they have never caught before. I like to give a lot of information about wildlife and history here in south Florida. This fishing charter service is very family oriented and welcomes all ages and groups. Captain Carlos' freshwater charters allow you to catch a variety of species, you don't just target one. Some common catches include peacock bass, largemouth bass and clown knife fish. These trips are extremely consistent and can produce all day action. All too often, he puts his client on so many fish that trips are called early by his clients because their arms are too tired to continue! Check out the carousel above to see some of the species you can expect to catch. Every private charter you book is run solely by Captain Carlos. Charters take place aboard a 19' polar bay boat. This boat is powered by a 2021 Suzuki 150hp engine. The boat is equipped with Garmin Electronics and a Minn Kota trolling motor. This fishing charter service is very family-oriented and welcomes all ages and groups. Meet up location can occasionally change depending on the day and where the best fishing is in the area, but Carlos will commonly pick up his guests from The Hive Waterfront Restaurant & Tiki in Lantana, FL. The hive is located at 2412 Floral Rd, Lantana, FL 33462. It is a great place to grab some delicious food and drinks after your charter! You will need to buy your fresh water fishing license before the trip, but otherwise, Captain Carlos will have everything else you need for a succesful day out on the water. Captain Carlos will provide you with top of the line Air Rifles and guidance to ensure you have a fantastic time on his trip! Don't just book with anyone, book with a U.S.C.G licensed and insured Captain who has the knowledge and skill to take these beauties down the right way. Our private Iguana Charters take place aboard a 19' center console bay boat. We use a .22 caliber air rifle with a scope as well as a noose to hunt the iguanas. This boat is powered by a 2021 Suzuki 150hp engine. The boat is equipped with Garmin Electronics and a Minn Kota trolling motor. This hunting/fishing charter service is very family oriented and welcomes all ages and groups. Our recommended minimum age to utilize our air rifles is 10 years old. However, it all depends on the child and their hunting experience. We had an awesome time with Carlos. He did a great job with the safety briefing and we had our first iguana on the boat in less than 15 minutes. Carlos helped us spot a big iguana ina tree at the end of our trip and hung over the end of the boat in deep trees and cover to retrieve it.
