Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Captain Santiago brings over 15 years of professional experience to the water. After years of freelancing with top charter operations, he’s built a strong reputation for putting anglers on serious fish—and winning tournaments while he’s at it.

Captain Santiago is a U.S. Coast Guard–licensed captain, certified in First Aid and CPR, and one of the most accomplished tarpon guides in the region. His tournament record speaks for itself: four Nico Guzman Cups at the CYC Tarpon Tournaments, a 12-Hour Shootout title, and multiple wins on the PRLTA inshore circuit.

Specializing in tarpon, snook, and jack crevalle, Captain Santiago offers trips that cater to both spinning and fly anglers. Whether you're sight casting with light tackle or delivering the perfect loop with a fly rod, he brings the local knowledge, technical skill, and sharp instincts needed to make it happen.
