My passion is more about catching fish, then making money. Having clients catch is what matters. This is a retirement job that I do because I love it. My first mate loves it also, and does a great job. He works so hard, and works for tips only! Everyone on the boat, including us,always have a great time out on the water. We have an ice box with ice to keep drinks cold, and offer complimentary water and soda. We offer inshore charters around Newport, Narragansett bay, or Block Island. Depending on whats running, is what we try to target. Striped bass are the favorite of most, but also have bluefish, Tautog, Sea Bass, Scup, Fluke, and false Albacore and Bonito, on the list. What’s the biggest fish you’ve caught?

54 pound striped bass. I have caught six stripers over 50 pounds, so far.

If you were cooking for all your friends what would you cook?

I don't cook, or even eat fish. BUT, striped bass is good, and so is Tautog. But sea bass is the best eating, and bluefish is the worst

All and any 80's music.

How did you get started guiding?

Fished as a kid, and started again later on life. Just love everything about it

What makes you different from other guides?

I call myself, The Captain with a Conscience. I don't care about the money. I care about people catching fish, having a great time, and a special life experience.
