About Your Trip

Experience a completely different side of fishing with a drift boat trip down the North Saskatchewan River, right through the heart of the city. This is a relaxed, scenic float where the current does the work, allowing you to focus on casting, fishing structure, and enjoying the ride.

You’ll be targeting local species while working banks, seams, and deeper holding water, using fly fishing techniques to stay engaged throughout the trip. Whether you choose the
4-hour half day or the 8-hour full day, the experience blends steady fishing with a unique urban backdrop.

Fishing from a drift boat allows you to access water that’s difficult to reach on foot, giving you more opportunities to find fish and cover productive areas efficiently. Along the way, you’ll take in views of the city from a perspective few get to experience.

All gear is included, along with snacks, drinks, and lunch on full-day trips. Just bring your fishing license, weather-appropriate clothing, and a willingness to relax and enjoy a different kind of day on the water.

This is a laid-back, well-rounded trip that combines fishing, scenery, and a smooth ride through one of Alberta’s most unique fisheries.
