Captain John has over 46 years of experience. After the Marines, John decided to start his own charter company and has now been successfully guiding for 20 years. His first passion was Bass fishing, which later transformed into love for saltwater species: for John, there is nothing like hooking into a monster Snook and pulling him out of the Mangroves or chasing Redfish on the flats. His first ever saltwater fish was 30lb bull Redfish, which got him hooked for life. The Captain enjoys sharing his knowledge with his friends and clients, putting them on fish.

My wife booked a 3 person salt water fishing trip out of Tampa, Florida in Tampa Bay. Our Captain was John that day for 4 bours. The captain arrived early and we were on our way. He explained what we would be doing and gave us many pointers to increase our chanes of hooking up. Capt John was very friendly and knowledgeable about the fishing and the surrounding area. It was very hot that day with very little wind most captains probably would have called it a day but Capt John kept us out an extra 3 hours catching fish. He wanted us to have a great time which we did. We will be booking more trips with Capt John in the near future. I urge anyone who wishes to do some bay fishing to look up Capt John and book a trip and make some memories. Thanks to Capt John for going out of his way to make sure we had a good time.
