Our main grounds are only 15–20 minutes from the dock, and just two local islands fish this area. About Your Trip

Private sport fishing and deep sea fishing charters in South Ari Atoll, Maldives. We’re based on Maamigili island, close to some of the least-fished reefs, channels and drop-offs in the Maldives. Our main grounds are only 15–20 minutes from the dock, and just two local islands fish this area. We pick up from Dhangethi, Dhigurah and resorts across South Ari, including Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, LUX* South Ari Atoll, Centara Grand, Vilamendhoo and Radisson Blu. Pickup times are set by the tide so you’re fishing the best of it.

Your Maldives fishing trip runs on our 38ft triple-engine center console with a T-top for shade and an onboard toilet. It fits up to 6 anglers and is built for offshore big game fishing for yellowfin tuna and marlin. A local captain and deckhand handle rigging, gaffing and photos. All fishing gear is included, with heavy popping and jigging setups built for trophy fish. On full-day charters we can cook part of your catch. No alcohol on board.

Every charter is private and built around you. Go GT popping for giant trevally on the reef edges, jig the drop-offs for dogtooth tuna, troll offshore for yellowfin tuna, wahoo, sailfish, mahi-mahi and blue marlin, or reef fish for snapper, grouper and coral trout. Mix techniques or chase one trophy species all day.

The best season for fishing in the Maldives is January to April, when the sea is calmest, but we fish South Ari year-round. Choose a half-day (4hr), 6-hour or full-day (8hr) fishing charter. Multi-day Maldives fishing packages come with discounted rates.
