If you're looking to experience some of the best fishing Pensacola has to offer, Captain James has you covered. Whether you're interested in bottom fishing reefs and wrecks, trolling for fast-moving pelagics, or targeting hard-fighting inshore species, this trip is built around putting you on fish and showing you a great time on the water.
Depending on the season and conditions, you may target Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, King Mackerel, Redfish, Little Tunny,
and other Gulf Coast favorites. Techniques vary throughout the year and may include trolling, bottom fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning with both light and heavy tackle.
This is a family-friendly trip that welcomes anglers of all experience levels. Whether you're introducing the kids to fishing or chasing a cooler full of fresh fillets, Captain James and his mate are there to help every step of the way. Live bait is often part of the game plan, and when conditions allow, you'll even stop to catch fresh cigar minnows on the way to the fishing grounds.
You'll be fishing aboard a 25' Parker Pilothouse equipped with GPS, fishfinder, radar, a live bait well, multimedia system, and plenty of comfortable seating. The boat also features an enclosed restroom inside the cabin, providing privacy and comfort throughout the day. A spacious livewell keeps bait healthy, while a large iced fish box is ready for your catch.
Your trip includes rods, reels, tackle, lures, live bait when available, fish cleaning and filleting, and all required fishing licenses. Complimentary bottled water and sodas are provided as well. Feel free to bring a lunch, snacks, and any beverages you'd like. Beer is welcome aboard, but please bring cans rather than glass bottles.
At the end of the day, you'll head back to the dock with great memories, fresh fish, and hopefully a few stories worth telling.
