About Your Trip

Set out from Oswego and spend the day chasing some of Lake Ontario’s most sought-after cold-water fish. This trip puts the focus on Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, and Lake Trout, with Captain Rich adjusting the game plan based on the conditions and where the fish are holding.

You’ll fish aboard a sportfisher with all the gear provided, making this an easy trip to step into whether you’re a first-timer or have plenty of time on the water. Lake Ontario is a big piece of water, and having a knowledgeable captain at the helm means you can settle in, enjoy the ride, and stay focused on the fishing.

Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and whatever personal items you’d like for the day. From hard-fighting salmon to Lake Trout holding down deep, this is a classic Lake Ontario day built around open water, solid gear, and time spent chasing fish out of Oswego.
